HOW THE COMPLIMENTARY KNIFE SHARPENING WORKS

The Wüsthof knife sharpening service is complimentary for WÜSTHOF knives and scissors for purchases made in Australia by Australian Retailers. You do however need to pay postage to and from Wusthof.
To take advantage of the sharpening service, send your WÜSTHOF knives to:

Please follow these shipping instructions to limit any damage and ensure the safety of the package handlers.

1. All knives must be clean before you send them;
2. Label each knife with a sticker on the handle with your full name
3. Download and PRINT THIS FORM. Please complete it and send it along with your knives/scissors to be sharpened;
4. Encase the blades or any other sharp-edged/pointed component in a closed-fitting/ protective covering, such as cardboard or a very thick wad of tightly rolled newspaper, strong enough
to ensure the contents do not pierce the outer packaging;
5. Ensure that there is plenty of extra padding around the knife tip and secure with heavy-duty packaging tape;
6. Wrap the knife bundle in extra cushioning like bubble wrap for extra protection and to limit movement inside the suitable container;
7. Secure the package carefully taping all the edges and seams;
8. Enclose your correct payment details which is used for the return postage, so we are able to return your knives promptly.
PLEASE NOTE:
Fackelmann Housewares are not responsible for any loss or damage in the transit process to our facility. We recommend that you insure your product. However, this is at your discretion and cost. The approximate turnaround for items outside of the Sydney metro area is 2 weeks.
